Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Rentilly account and associated personal data at any time.

01Delete in the app

Open the Rentilly app and go to Profile → Security & Settings → Delete Account, then confirm.

02Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email support@myrentilly.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify your identity and confirm within 30 days.

03What happens to your data

  • Your profile, listings, photos and preferences are permanently deleted or anonymized.
  • Any active escrow balance must be settled or released to the party entitled to it before deletion completes.
  • Financial and transaction records are retained for the statutory AML period required by Nigerian law, then deleted.
  • Your raw BVN is never stored, so there is nothing to retain.
